#LASH411Inspiration | “Im an artist, I’m sensitive bout my shhh”
👉🏾DON’T TRY TO KEEP UP WITH SOCIAL MEDIA – KEEP UP WITH YOURSELF + YOUR OWN SKILLS [cuz it’s YO skills that’ll pay YO bills☺️]
💁🏾♀️full disclosure: I have a love/hate relationship with my work. Some days I slay, some days I don’t know why I bother taking pics. Sometimes I wish I did megavol sets bc I love how [the good ones] look, but they drain me, and my clientele isn’t asking for it. I want to push myself further into my own artistry to master my art, I want to know as much about it as possible bc everyday I discover something new while working on a client, something I didn’t already know. This shit takes discipline like a martial artist – you gotta respect the art. I also wish I took better pictures bc the pic never does the real thing justice. I just want to create my own [safe]art and both my client and myself be happy with it (F what anyone else says)🤷🏾♀️ *end random rant*
It’s really that simple. As long as we are practicing safe lashes, then do whatever your creativity tells you! Don’t listen to social media! There is no one way to do a set, there are multiple. I love creating and if you scroll through my page it’s not throwin up gang signs but they are not one size fits all. I customize these lashes to fit what my clients want, their personalities, and also based on what their natural lashes can handle (safe lashes). I encourage you to explore and to really find what makes your art exciting. That’s another reason why I don’t look at lashing as work. It’s actually fun and therapeutic for me. Do you like trying new ways to lash?
